At Steel City Style, all body piercings are performed by our fully licensed and highly qualified in-house piercer, ensuring a safe, professional, and comfortable experience from start to finish. We use only internally threaded, implant-grade titanium jewellery to guarantee the highest quality and support optimal healing.
We only pierce with needles—never guns—to ensure precision, reduce trauma, and promote better healing.
Our piercing areas are maintained to the strictest standards of cleanliness and hygiene—because your safety and comfort are always our top priority.

Walk-ins

While we do welcome walk-ins, we always recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment—especially since our resident piercer is also one of our tattoo artists and can get booked up quickly.
You can book directly through our Instagram booking service, or feel free to call or message us and we’ll get you sorted.We allow 30 minutes per piercing, so if you're planning to get multiple piercings in one session, just give us a heads-up. That way, we can make sure there’s enough time set aside for you.
Jewellery
We stock only highly polished, internally threaded titanium jewellery—perfect for both initial piercings and long-term wear. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and hypoallergenic, making it one of the safest and most comfortable materials for healing piercings. The internal threading helps to prevent irritation and damage during insertion.

Jewellery Changes

You don’t need to have been pierced here to pop in for a jewellery change—we’re happy to help! If you’re struggling to remove or swap your jewellery, we’ll do it for free when you purchase your replacement piece from us. In many cases, you can simply switch out the topper and keep your existing post, making it quick, easy, and cost-effective.

We take safety and consent seriously, so please make sure to review our age requirements before booking:

Ear lobe piercings – available from age 5 and up

Nose piercings – available from age 13 and up

All other ears and lip piercings - available from 16 and up

Tongue, Genital (female only) and nipple piercings – strictly 18+ only

Anyone under 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present to give consent at the time of the appointment. Both the child and the legal guardian must present valid ID.

We also operate a Challenge 25 policy—if you look under 25, please bring valid photo ID to avoid any delays.

We’re more than happy to accommodate you. Whether that means allocating extra time, providing a privacy screen, or simply going at your pace, we’re here to help. Everyone who wants a piercing should feel safe and supported while getting one.
We offer ear lobe piercings for children aged 5 and up. Please note that we only use needles, not piercing guns. Needle piercing is a far safer and more hygienic method, allowing for greater precision, less trauma to the tissue, and better healing.

aftercare
We offer a piercing aftercare solution for £10 to help you heal safely and prevent infection. Use it twice a day until your piercing is fully healed, and then as needed to keep everything clean and happy.
